The Harbor Hall Foundation website has been a long time coming and I’m happy to unveil it to you. I hope our website will engage and connect you to our mission of addiction recovery support in our community. Our Board of Trustees is comprised of people who are passionate about addiction care – some are in recovery themselves and others have family, friends or staff struggling with addiction. They are all here because of their collective desire to make Harbor Hall and the Harbor Hall Foundation change-makers for addicts and their families.

In 2016, an estimated 20.1 million persons aged 12 or older had a substance abuse disorder related to their use of alcohol or illicit drugs in the past year (U.S. Health and Human Services). Those 20.1 million people also have 20.1 million families, friends, classmates and colleagues also exposed to addiction’s devastation.  Just as a stone creates ripples when thrown into a pond, the effects of addiction spread outward incrementally.

But there is always hope and in this case, hope is in the form of recovery opportunities for addicts as well as their families. Our work exists because people need hope and opportunities to better their lives.  We could not do it without our dedicated supporters. Thank you for helping us make a difference.
